geez that's a lot a dough.  can't any of the "well wishers, and my husbands relatives clampered around my bed" use the money? 

ROTFL!!!!!!   I would think there would be no money for me once those clampering relatives get done with the dough!!  And think of the expensive court battle as I try to get my fair share.  An internet promise is as good as a Will...right?

I too get these sometimes on OH, Char and I just report and delete them.

You should see the PMs that are sent to some of the men on OH...talk about *****graphic!  geesh!  The ladies talk about how life must be different for the former fatties and how they can 'help them out with sex that will boost their self confidence for the right favors in return'......hahahaha!  And NO, these spam PM's do not come from me!  LMAO

sheesh...now why do I never get any porn pms! Joking! I mostly get PMs from some friends....but this is my first spam PM...boy do i feel special! NOT!! 

Be sure to NEVER reply to these people.  Some can use the IP information they get back from your response to break into your PC and steal your accounts.  It happened recently to OLDMEDIC. 

oh go no way would I respond to these things..my one coworker is constantly asking me, should I answer them, that's a lot of money, think it's real....and I keep telling her no, no, delete them...one day she is going to respond....sheesh...

Is that how they got Oldmedic's info?  someone offered me some crockpot recipes and when i sent email, she just basically said yeah i know why you sent it......hopefully our antivirus and provider can keep that out.....

They've been going on for years.   Decades, in the "snail mail."   And yet, you hear about people falling for them from time to time.   They do often come up with new variations to try to get new people.  
I guess the upshot of it is that they're free to send out, and if ONE person responds they've got it made.  Most of them live in a country where the economy is horrible, the living conditions are very bad and a lot of people will do anything at all do make a living (or more).
