What do I do with all of these clothes? It's depressing at the same time it's satisfying. So much money down the drain.

You can sell them on Ebay, plus sizr clothes sell pretty well or you can find a local abused womens shelter to donate to.

I donate mine to the abused women's shelter.  They can always use them.

I gave a lot of my large sized clothing to a thrift store that is connected with my church.  Five sports coats in very good condition, a dozen pairs of slacks, twenty five shirts, socks (yes my feet have shrunk), jeans, and so on.

I am wearing sizes now that I haven't worn in well over 15 years.

It's both a good thing, and and an expensive process.  I am buying some clothing at that same thrift store, for now.

I can't see buying everything brand new, when it will only fit me for a couple of months.

A former Army Medic (1959-1969), Registered Nurse (1969-2000), College Instructor (1984-1989) and a retired Rehabilitation Counselor.  I am also a dual citizen of the USA and Canada.

If you have a support group you can take them there. We have a clothing exchange at ours.

give them away and feel good about it.

then you get to get yourself new ones!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

 size 8, life is great

I donate mine to the Salvation Army.  The donation slip is good for a 25% discount for five days after the donation.  Then I use it to buy more.  I figure it is the cheepest place to shop as I hope to lose many more sizes before I am done.  Then I will splurge on the clothes.

Doesn't matter how, just get rid of them...Except save one pair of pants, tuck them away, and save them for a pic when you reach goal.  I have a pair of capris that I saved...and although I am still a bit away from goal, I am going to take a pic in them for my one year!!!
Every month it seems I am throwing things or donating things.  At least my clothes are small enough now, that I can start donating to my Mother...she will probably appreciate some of the things I can give her.
