I TALKED TO THE HEAD NURSE IN CHARGE OF BARIATRICS AND SHE SAID DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE ON THE SITE DO WHAT YOUR SURGEN INSTRUCTED YOU. SHE SAID ALOT OF DOCTORS DO THINGS DIFFERENT YOUR DOCTOR DOES THIS FOR MAINLY THE MENTAL PART, EYES BIGGER THAN THE STOMACH. BUT SHE'S GOING TO SEE ABOUT GETTING ME IN ON THE 10TH CAUSE SHE SAID THEY LIKE IT TO BE CLOSE TO 2 WEEKS AND MINE WAS OVER 3 WEEKS UNTIL I STARTED EATING SO NOW I'M HAPPY, AND I DO LISTEN TO WHAT EVERYONE SAYS, DOESN'T MEAN I'M GOING TO DO IT.

why ask all of us so many times, complain and tell us about collapsing and stuff then use all caps to tell us essentially we are all idiots and you aren't gonna listen to us?

Sorry but I just dont understand your head space right now.  I feel like you bate us to tell us its wrong, then tell us off for it.

If you want to make your letters bigger do that with the box above that says, "size"

All caps appears as though one is yelling and it is not pleasant to read.

Fair enough.  Generally speaking it is always a good idea to listen to your surgical team for direction.

It will drive you nuts if you try to compare what you are doing to what everyone else has been instructed to do. So many doctors' plans are different and each of us has a different body, sex, age, fitness level, etc. There is no one right answer for anything, really, other than you shouldn't be eating fried chicken and Twizzlers the day you go home.

This site is great for a lot of things, especially stuff like what to expect after surgery, what are foamies/slimies, should I have this pain, why am I so tired, etc. But when you start comparing eating plans, things get kind of nuts. That's why I take what I need from this site and just leave the rest and don't stress over it.
