Wondering about Plastic Surgery .....check this out!
Lori's arms are amazing ... but mine were probably three times the size of hers pre-op. There was no way in any universe that I could have gotten rid of my excess skin by exercise, and my arms are plenty muscular. I had a hang of about 4-6 inches after my weight loss, and a wonderful plastic surgeon, Dr. Joseph Woods in Atlanta, chopped off my excess. My arms look very good, and I wouldn't trade what he did for anything. All that flappin' and slappin' as I moved my arms before -- UGH!!! --Dorothy
Highest weight: 292 Pre-op weight: 265 Goal met: 150 Six years out: 185 and trying to lose again!
LOL, me too! Break out the pics!!
Also...Lori's arms are freaking amazing, but ain't no amount of exercise that's gonna fix what I got. I do exercise, have since before surgery, in fact, and since I started doing weight stuff (including exercises using my own body weight as resistance) my arms have gotten lots stronger and none smaller :(
