size 18 jeans!!!!

hi all! i'm getting ready for a trip to Austin to visit a friend and it's gonna be about 30 degrees hotter there than here. of course i have no pants that fit, so i went thru an old pile to see what i could find. i found one pair of 1X drawstring cotton pants (okay, a little snug) and then went thru my jeans. 26, no; 22, wow, no; 24, no! andt hen i found a pair of 18s. now they're well worn in, but still, i was shocked when they actually fit!!!! they're from the fat girls' store (Avenue) but they're EIGHTEENS!!!!!!

this is truly amazing to me b/c when i went shopping for pants 2 weeks ago the 20s were a little too small. and maybe they still will be. but THIS pair of pants are 18s and i'm sticking with it!

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!

Me too! Just bought a dress today! My legs r going to be exposed for the first time in years!! :) Congrats! Its such an amazing feeling for the scale to be a friend not my worst nightmare anymore! :)
