HOW DO YOU GET IT IN!!!
We had surgery the same day!!! I am in the same boat as you...at most I am at 30-45g protein and maybe an extra 8oz of fluid. I am a little discouraged at the fact that I cannot hit the 70g mark. I got some samples of Beneprotein before I left the hospital and added to my drinks. Its a good 6g protein powder that can be added to food and drink. it did not alter my drink so i bought a canister online. Im hoping the extra 6g per drink will get me even closer to the 70g mark! Good luck!
Here's my BIG secret/solution!!
I take an Atkins or EAS premade shake, stick it in the blender, and add 1 sometimes 2 (especially in the stage 1 zone) scoops of Body Fortress protein mix.
This give me 60+ grams of protein, and 12 oz of liquid.
Its tough to get all your water in, but just drink as much as you can.
Good luck!!!

I'm 4 mos. post-op today and I STILL have trouble getting enough liquids; but I keep working at i****ch out for signs of dehydration and just do the best you can.
As for the protein, I learned from a friend that one way to do it is to start every day with a "double" protein shake - I put 2 scoops of Unjury in 8 oz. of 1% milk for breakfast and presto - 48 grams of protein - don't believe the stuff you hear about the body not being able to absorb that much - it must work - I'm down 100 lbs. (24 pre-op) Good luck!
