8 Months Post-op B4/After
Before: 228 lbs, lazy, no exercise, diabetic, high cholesterol, and worst of all an enlarged heart, a direct result of my increasing weight.
I was 27 years old going to school for nursing to help people, but couldn't even help myself :(. My health was literally spiralling downhill. What a blessing to have found out about the sleeve!
After: I am 141lbs, completely healthy, and live in the gym. I feel like a new person! Just the other day I went to JCPenny's to buy a bathing suit. I asked one of the employees where the swimwear was and I'll never forget her response. She asked if it was for me and I said yes. She sized me up and pointed me straight to the JUNIORS section. NEVER in a million years would I think that I would LOOK like I SHOULD be shopping in the Juniors section. It was a moment of triumph and reality. I feel normal now. I no longer walk with my friends and feel like the short fat one. I'm even going on a cruise for the first time ever in 2 weeks!! I have so much more confidence and have a better outlook on my love life *twirls*.
I have never made a better decision for my life and like so many others, I only reget not doing it sooner!
