So I am on day 3 of my pre-op shakes.  I'm taking Bariatric Advantage meal replacement powder.  This may be TMI.  I'm having alot of gas issues today?  I'm wondering if it is just me. Anyone else have this issue?

I had those BA Meal replacement shakes.  I couldn't drink them.  I threw up.  So I wouldn't know if I had gas from them or not!

I mix them with 1/2 soy milk and 1/2 water. Then add fruit and sugar free syrups. I dont mind them at all..

I tried the BA shakes I liked them and had no gas issues. I bought the single serving containers first to try each flavor. Didn't want to spend $50 dollars on a bag of something I didn't like. I liked them all except the vanilla. I was wondering what did you mix them with. The container says to mix with water my nutritionist said to mix with milk for more protein. So the first one I mixed with water YUK!!!. The next I mixed with 2& milk and loved it. I do no that the nutrionist said we are sopposed to mix it with non fat milk especialy after surgery non fat milk only. Well non fat milk has always given me gas so I went with my 2% since I havent had surgery. I wonder if it is the milk that is giving you milk. Are you trying to lose for pre-surgery how much have you lost.

My diet was very restrictive; no dairy, no bread, no pasta, and no sugar.  I mixed my shakes with water.  I still had gas, so I use tums and Zantac.
