Eating on Schedule
My husband works out all the time. Here is what he uses for work, he works 24 hour shifts and this really seems to help him. The problem is finding them. They have either 3 or 6 pull out containers and on the top is a spot for vitamins and supplements. On the sides there is enough room for shaker cups and protein or water bottles. He even fits a small blender in it. It is pricey, but we save a lot of money and it keeps him on track.

I currently work from 6am (have to leave house at 5:30am) and get home approx 6pm. I have to bring snacks, even with a lunch break. I take cheese sticks (my favorite are PepperJack) or slice off an ounce from a block and put that in a ziploc snack size bag. I also measure out and carry a serving of beef jerky. I have protein chips that I constantly keep a bag of in my desk drawer (for those "oh crap i forgot food" moments). I also keep one of the Chiobani Greek Yogurt with fruit cups in the fridge. I drink a shake for breakfast (my nut and surgeon has no isues with me drinking shakes as long as I want). I also keep a bag of peanuts for emergencies in my desk.
If i bring lunch it is usually either tuna/chicken mixed with plain greek yogurt. Typically I eat lunch out and pick up one of the following--pintos and cheese with a side of meat from Taco Bell, kids 4 piece chicken nugget meal from chick fil a and toss out the fries and usually one nugget, Chopped BBQ beef (they look at you odd when you ask for 1/4 of a pound and a to go box :)) Chili from either Wendy's or Chili's. I also carry some unflavored protein powder with me and mix it in with soup so even if it is broccoli and cheeese i still get some protein.
Most important, make sure you figure in the calories from whatever your choices are...by planning I know that if i were to eat EVERYTHING in my snack bag, then i would only be at XXX number of calories which helps...also for fast refernce in the beginning i would take a marker and place the number of calories and protein on the outside of the bag to help with journaling

I travel for work and am gone for days at a time. I don't have access to a kitchen so have to rely on what comes with the hotel rooms. Usually it's the coffee pot and not much else. I've stocked up on several products from Bariatric Choice. They don't need refrigeration and don't require much preparation. I can find ice to keep milk cold for shakes. And can make most other stuff using the coffee maker if I need ho****er.
