Surgery is Monday very Nervous!  Am I doing the right thing?

i JUST  GOT APPROVED 4/25 is my surgery date

You will be fine just think 3 months from now how much weight u will have lost

I think it is natural to be afraid, but think this is for your health and what better reason for the procedure.  Pray and feel good about it!

my family told me the same thing for years. With my husband's support; I went through with surgery- got sleeved on 2/28/11. I've lost 40+ pounds in a month. I feel wonderful. My initial weight was 287!

A decision of this magnitude is truly a life-changing event. Chin up because you will be making a change in a postive direction. Congrats!

Thanks It's just hard to know what to do. I have a husband who weight is 170. No one get it . My Mom is a size 2 and said if U can loss weight on the liq diet Y R U having it done. I am doing it for me I am 5 9 269 bmi 41 low end I just dont want to be this way anymore.

I have my VSG 4-19-2011. I may ask the same question 4-15-2011. But I'm so ready.

You will be just fine. Again pray about it and be sure to do all of what the doctor and nutritionist  says pre and post op. I'm so happy for you.

I'm scheduled for surgery on Monday too. I'm not that nervous, but I'm starting to get antsy. I just want it to be over. I'm more scared about getting the IV put in then having the actual surgery.
