Question
I have already talked to my doc's office and I am to call back tomorrow about how I feel but I just wanted you guys to chime in. I have a terrible burning in the center of my chest. It makes my stomach feel just terrible. It doesn't throb, just burns no nausea . I started on full liquids yesterday and this feeling started yesterday evening. I am doing clear liquids again today and when I woke up this morning, it was a little better but it's back in full force. I have taken tums and gas x which gives no relief. Anyone experience this problem before? Laying down seems to take away a little of the burn so that's pretty much what I have been doing all day.

Yes I experienced right after surgery. It happen as soon as I came too in the hospital. I confused it a lot with pain so I would hit the pain button. But when I realized it wasn't pain I think it was stomach acid and it lasted a good couple of days then it finally passed after a week or so. So just hang in there, it will get better!
