I have PCOS and have been on metformin/Glucophage for 2 years now. I had my wls 3 weeks ago. I'm wanting to start back on my meds. Is there anyone on here that has PCOS and is on metformin after wls? If so how do you take them? These pills are huge and there horrible when crushed.

I also have PCOS but I stopped taking the Metformin during pre-opt. I have a Dr.'s Appt coming up and was gonna ask if I should start taking it again. Have you tried cutting them in half?
I have PCOS and take Metformin and Spironalactalone (sp?). I started back on mine less than a week after surgery, and was able to swallow whole. Suprisingly, they went down ok!
