Ready to start the 5th week....What did you begin with after you finished mushies?

Today was my grandaughters first birthday party...I ate the inside of some breaded talapia....a couple of bites of chicken.. I couldnt eat the vegetables because I couldnt smash them..They were too hard...

Water and coffee...

Breakfast was: Greek yogurt and 1/4 of smushed banana...(mixed in)

Dinner>?..Im still not hungry....

Maybe some cream of brocoli soup?

Protein shake...

One of the first things I had when I was on soft foods was rotisserie chicken. I took a little bit of refried beans, rot. chicken, about a tsp of sour cream and salsa. It was amazing!!

My first food was a crabcake, one of the other patients in the office and I were talking about how we would love to have a crabcake, and when I got my list from my nut. they were on there. So I went by the store on the way home and got a can of crabmeat and made my own when i got home, they way I could make them with no fattening stuff and all crab meat. Delish!!!!!!!!!

I already tried Crab cakes..I eat the inside of one...Great!  ( I give my dog the outside of it)

Any kind of beef?  How about turkey?(sliced)  I eat mini turkey meatballs..(inside)..I bought some ground turkey...Maybe I could make a meat loaf with it...and cut it into portions?

Thanks!

I am a little over 6 wks. out and I was told I can have beef and chicken and pork chops,  but it has to be lean meat and I have to chew it very well, she said to try and fix it so that it is soft and almost falling apart even if I have to boil it,  and I can't have any raw veggies yet, for at least 3-4 mo. I really want a salad, can't wait.
