Damn Chipotle tomatoes

My son suggested Chipotle for dinner last night and I have to agree I thought it was a wonderful idea.  It had been a while and I could not remember if the tomatoes or the corn was spicy.  I added the tomatoes to my burrito bowl.

I had a rough time eating it, so FAT Fay took over.  You know where theres a will theres a way Fay.  Yep that one!  My stomach felt like I was in a fight with Mike Tyson.  This morning I still have some residual effects of the spices.

No I did not enjoy my attempt at eating a third of a "healthy" burrito bowl and my stomach is still issuing reminders in the form of pain/burning (even with prilosec).

LOL... You are so funny Fay.... Naw I havent attempted to try anything spicy yet. I know it will kill me and my new little belly..lol. So I would stay away from anything that has a spice in it other than salt and pepper...

FAT Fay emerges during head hunger.  She says things like "you not gon waste that food are you?"  and "you gotta get your stomach used to spices again.  Consider this TRAINING"

I actually love spicy food, it doesn't bother me and my new tummy. However, greasy foods bother me and sit super heavy, so I've learned to avoid them.

Oohhh, Bamberger83, I hope I am like you!   I LOVE spicy foods and sure would hate to give that up!      But, I am still on post-op liquids so have not tested that yet.   I did think about Tabasco in my tomato soup, but haven't tried it yet, LOL.

I've been really lucky with spicy stuff, too! I couldn't live with Frank's Red Hot and my homemade jalapeño/habanero salsa! I was doing cream of chicken soup with red hot on day 5 post op! Lol! BUT, I still can't tolerate eggs very well. Isn't weird how all our sleeves are so different?

So, Fay... Bet you won't do that again, eh? hope your tummy is back to normal soon!

It took me a year and a half to really tolerate spicy food.  Every time I would try it, I would get so nauseous but it finally got better...just took a while.
