I do eat about 4 - 5 oz per meal. I eat 3 times a day with a 1/2 of a protein shake between breakfast and lunch and the other 1/2 between lunch and dinner. I also drink isopure almost everyday 1/2 and then 1/2 again. My son, who has been into fitness for the last 8 years, read somewhere that the body absorbs 20 grams of protein at once, the rest is flushed out like vitamins.
I have fear because I know I am eating more than everyone else I run into. I am still losing weight and so therefore trying to get past my head that I am failing and tell myself I am still doing good.
I never thought I would be riding a bike, or walking especially after 2 1/2 hours of walking would turn into limping for the rest of the day and I would have to lay down. I am so thankful my thighs that dont rub together like they use to. It was painful and I had to use baby powder. Yes to no more!!!!
I am an emotional eater and since I gave away the 50 pounds away, stuff has come up that I get to deal with them at this weight. So naturally my head says " Go Graze" I am fighting this and everything time I want to eat for no reason, I DONT ... one day at a time.... i dont graze or eat late at night is a victory for me and I wake up smiling and actually am proud of myself.
I love my sleeve, but it is me that I am falling in love with.
Cheers!

I'm down 38 pounds since surgery. I've adjusted to how much food I can eat in one sitting but I'm not "over the moon" about it. I don't think it's too much to ask to finish a 1/2 cup of chili...lol I know we'll eventually get there and I'll be crying because I can eat more BUT NOT TODAY...LOL
I started this journey at 311 pounds. Today I am 258. 53 pounds down from my highest weight. Went from 3X tops to 1X tops (depending on the label). Went from 24 pants to 20. Went from size 22 dress to 16. I'm loving my sleeve!!
Some NSV's for me:
- I can actually run around with my son
- I fit into size 16 dresses (still in a 20 pants though...still have that donkey following me around...lol)
- Going to the ballpark without complaining about the walk
- Had to clean out my closet and SERIOUSLY need to go shopping
Just to name a few.
