OK so I had my surgery on Friday morning all went well. Weighed in at 251.3 (oh how I was trying to get under 250). They put me on that table and that was it. In what seemed 5 mins later the nurse was waking me up. Dr Janos Taller was wonderful he explained everything to me and my husband, even gave me pics of my new tummy (i will hang them up with the rest of my family pics). I finally left the hospital this morning and walking around like it's all gooooood. I'm not hungry just old evil habits sneak in my head (have one bite of this). I am sipping, walking and resting. I haven't been in that much pain so far either. Thank you all so much for your words so I would know what to expect

YAY!! I'm glad it went well!! Hang in there and keep us posted!  Just some advice...if you feel twingy pain it is normal and when you can finally eat - chew chew chew chew and then chew some more....no more inhaling!!  I love my sleeve, however I don't love throwing up!!  Hugs!! Kris

Welcome to the Losers' Bench!     Glad to hear you had a smooth procedure and best wishes for the rest of your recovery to be uneventful...nice that your pain levels have been low (mine were too!).  Those old habits do die hard, and when I think mine are getting under control, they sneak up on me again!  Take care of yourself and keep us posted!  Viv

Congratulations on your new tiny tummy!! You are doing the best things you can do right now, sip, walk, rest (and don't forget to fart, as I was reminded)!

Wishing you a fast and healthy recovery and then the best ride of your life!

Keep walking.  It makes a big difference in your recovery.  The head hunger is rough the first two weeks.  Don't eat!!  You can do it and you will be a big, I mean tiny, success.
I am not big boned!  Bones don't jiggle!
