Healthy snack if you havent already tried this..

I have only tried red pepper infused hummus and didn't care for it. I want to try a difference variety though. This does sound like a great snack. Thanks!

Not sure but I know a 1/2 cup of Edamane is about 10 G of protein.

Great idea! I was taking a teaspoon and licking it like my peanutbutter. I hope the cucumbers don't make me burp!

If you get English Cucumbers, you will not burp. For some reason, they are not the burpy kind. English ones are very long and usually wrapped in plastic saran-like wrap.
YUM! I had them today on smoked turkey and cheese rolled up. No burps for me!

Good idea ! The only veggie I have tried is some little cherry tomatoes. I am only 5 + weeks out so I will probably wait on the cucumbers for a couple more weeks. I do miss my veggies . I drink a v8 every day for now.

 I love hummus and any vegetable. Hummus and Green/yellow peppers was the first thing I ate when I was cleared for real foods.

I like artichoke hummus (classic plain hummus W/ artichoke tapinade mixed in) and hard boiled eggs  had it for lunch W/  pink and blue eggs!  yummy.  sounds weird but it moistens the eggs instead of mayo!

another good snack is to take hummus and fill a boiled egg with it. scoop out the yolk and put the hummus there.
potein is high and so yummy!!
