Home and Sleeved
Some thoughts:
1) I hurt more than I thought I would
2) I used to wonder how people couldn't just drink some liquid... now I know. Each sip is followed by a painful hiccup/burp, and an irritable sleeve.
3) Crushed medicines are NASTY! Seriously, I think I will stop taking my prozac...not really, but by the time I choke down all these nasty meds, no wonder I don't want to drink anything else.
Trying to stay positive and hope that I feel better with every day.

The first few days are so hard. I empathize with you. The day after my surgery, I asked the nurse, "Will I ever feel good again???" She told me, "Of course and very soon!" Those words were true.
You have been through a major surgery and your body doesn't know what the heck has happened. The meds are indeed the PIT, but it gets better.
Best wishes for quick healing!

Congratulations on your surgery sweetie, the first couple of weeks are the hardest, you will be so glad that you did this, really and soon. I don't know if yu can have pudding yet, i was sent home on full liquids so i could and if you crush a pill and put it in a spoon of pudding it goes down easier than anything else i tried to take them with. Just be good to yourself and soon this will just be a vague memory and you'll be delighted with the new you :o) jeani
