Anyone on Arizona AHCCCS Recently Approved for VSG? *Crosspost*

I am crossposting this thread because there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of activity on the Arizona forum...hoping someone can answer

Hi everyone!
I haven't been on the board in quite some time. About a year ago I had my mind made up to have VSG however, was never able to fund it. Now, due to other issues, I am on AHCCCS (due to a knee injury that specialist says will improve with weightloss...kind of a catch 22)

I would like to hear from anyone that has been recently approved for VSG. I am possibly open to LapBand but only if cannot get approval for VSG.

I would also like to hear about GOOD Arizona doctors that accept AHCCCS and perform VSG. I live in Bullhead City (a lot closer to Vegas than Phoenix), therefore I am already expecting to have to go some distance to Phoenix or Tucson...so I am open to any AZ doctor I CAN TRUST!!
