I Started a couch to 5k training program today.... I was so SLOW, but oh well, I jogged for 8 minutes

Anyone else want to train?  I am using the program at http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

It will probably take me longer than 8 weeks to "run" the full 5k, but at least I'm moving!

Congrats on starting your training!  I just started a C25k on Friday.  I didn't do the training exactly as laid out.  Instead, I warmed up for 5 minutes, then I alternated jogging for 1 minute and walking for 2 minutes.  I finished by jogging for two straight minutes and then cooling down for a minute before stretching.  It felt awesome, and it was the most I've sweated since before I had surgery.  I couldn't stop sweating for more than an hour!  Of course, today my leg muscles are really sore in spite of my best stretching efforts.  I plan to hit the treadmill again tomorrow.  I want to make sure I do it three times in a week so I can build my cardiovascular fitness quickly.

Great job!  It was a great workout, hard for me though!  I may be doing week 1 for 2 weeks
