Resuming Sexual Activity After Surgery

The surgeon cleared me after 4 weeks. So I said, "Oh good to know" then I asked him, "I've heard that sex is better with a partner, is that true"? He didn't really respond... Craig

 I was cleared at my two week post op, but didn't feel up to it until about the 3rd week.  I didn't want to have to "hold back" heh.

My doctor didn't specify but I think I waited about 2 weeks. I can't believe someone's doctor said to wait 6 weeks. lol I think I would've died.

I jumped my husband about 10 days after surgery, no pain. I guess it really depends on positions and if your the man or woman.  

SEX!  What? We can have sex after surgery? Well of all the things....
"Wifey!  Oh wifey, come here and see me for about 10 minutes...."

LOL-- you all are too much! I know, six weeks seems like a lot unless the patient is very high risk or had an open surgery rather than a laproscopic one.

Glad to know also that my post-op appointment is coming up on the 27th... I'm counting down the minutes.
