Swallowing Gel Caps?

Hello,
I was wondering, how long did you wait to resume swallowing meds instead of crushing them/breaking them open? My plan calls for 2 months, I am 1 month today, I honestly don't know if I can stomach this any longer, the taste is horrid. I have 2 small gel caps that I have to take.... thoughts?

My surgeon told me to resume all the small sized meds as soon as it was comfortable to swallow... I resumed mine around 3-4 weeks out.

same here i started swallowing pills about 3-4 weeks post op  :o) jeani

Thanks!  I think I am going to brave it tomorrow and give it a try!

Two months for me.

I was given meds to swallow in the hospital and continued to swallow my meds when I got home. Initially I would wait 5-10 minutes between swallows but soon I was taking the pills one after another with ease.
