MAY SLEEVERS: How ya doing?

I was sleeved on May 16th.  Down 17lbs in a little over a week, so I am thrilled.  Finally got to move past Jello and Popsicles(which I have come to loath) today.  I have had pudding for both meals and I am now sipping on some milk with a little SF chocolate syrup in it.  I tried a protein shot today and nearly died!  Too thick and sweet!  I only got in half of it.  Tomorrow I am going to try and water it down.
Is anyone else out there fatigued all the time?  I am feeling good enough to be back to my normal life, but it doesn't take much for me to become exhausted!  I mean, walking into the school to get my daughter made me weak and sick feeling!

Hi All,  I was sleeved on 17 May - so I'm one week out today!!!  I'm doing really well, diet is full fluids for one more week then pureed foods for a couple of weeks.  No problem so far, really happy with my decision and feeling very positive about the future!!  I love reading about everyone's journey, it's amazing how we are all so different yet on the same path.  Good luck everyone!

Hi there, I was sleeved on 10 May.  I can't believe how far I have come in two weeks!  I have only lost 14 lbs since I went into the hospital  but that is 48 sticks of butter so I will take them ALL!  I felt down the first week of my surgery and wondered if i made a mistake but obviously this week is better and I DIDN'T!  I went back to work today it and it was fine.  Just came home and vegged in the chair but will get out and walk after dinner if it isn't still in the 90s!

I am eating FOOD as of yesterday.  My doctor said that if I haven't thrown up then I am good to go.  Just have to remember how to eat SLOWLY!

What i want to know is how do you eat slowly and still have warm food when you are done?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone. I was sleeved on May 19 th. Each day I am feeling better and feel stronger. I am on full liquids now, love my cream of chicken soup but can not get the whole 4 oz in at one sitting. I know that will get better too. I am so happy to have the surgery behind me now. Ready to get on with my new life. Good luck to all of you.

Everybody sounds like they're doing great-- I'm glad we have a good group of May Sleevers to draw on for support.

Keep up the good work, everyone!
