Post op question

How do u get 64oz of water in with all the other stuff u have to take, my stomach can't take it?

Are you only 3 days post op? I read that right away it is tough and with time you will be able too. 

I am 6 days post op and I am just sipping all day and I come pretty close, this is including the jello and broth as they count as liquids. Are you eating either of those that can be included in your count? 

It will get easier!! Just keep sippin!! How did your surgery go? I can't believe you are finally done! YAY!

sugar free popsicles went down so much easier than fluids....................... these count toward your fluids. The cold settled on my tummy better.

Took me a good 2 months before I could get that much in.  For now, just keep sipping!

Me too!  Just keep sipping.  At first, there's a lot of swelling in your stomach.  It will subside and you will be able to drink more.  After a while, you will be able to take larger sips.  Also, it might help if you try your drinks at various temps.  Normally I'd like ice cold drinks.  After surgery, I liked warm or room temp drinks.
