WOW good for OH getting the advertisement set up here on the site regarding
Premier Protein Shakes...

But the shakes are too expensive, unlike costco... bummer....
I did not know they make strawberry and I have been trying to get vanilla...

$28.70 for a box... sorry I DONT THINK SO!!!! plus shipping....

Aren't they 20-something bucks a box at Costco? Still cheaper than most of the RTD shakes that are $7-8 for a 4-pack.

I have never tried RTD. do you like them?

I didn't know about a strawberry, either!

I've actually been emailing back and forth with them lately regarding the "too thick" issue that's been posted here a few times. I hadn't had that issue until a week or so ago, when I bought two cases at Costco and they were so thick I couldn't even drink them. I brought them back, got two more cases, same thing. Premier has emailed me back saying they're going to send me a free case, which is nice, but I'd really like to know if this is going to be a standard problem. The March 24th ones were bad, April 8 was fine, May 28th was bad.

I ended up having to drive 30 minutes to the next Costco to get some that were okay. I got 5 boxes, all February 7th, and they're all good.

Here's hoping this doesn't become a standard problem! I love my Premier Protein!

yes yes... I have had the same issue. too thick and there is almost like a seperation.
hate to say this but at times I drank them not realizing it. ughhhhh nasty thought...

sorry to hear you had to drive so far. I am going to email them to about it. perhaps they
will eventually fix this problem

I emailed last week, and the response I got was a free case, which is awesome, don't get me wrong. I wrote back to say that I was really interested in finding out whether this was a one-time problem or something more ongoing. I provided links to forum posts here (probably 6-8 that I found from a 30 second search) to support what I was saying. It seems like each time someone emails about it, they are sent free product and told that the formula hasn't changed and the info will be forwarded to quality control, but nothing else is said.

At least someone here posted the easy way to find out if it's too thick. Open the case, take one out, shake it. If you can hear stuff moving around, you're good. If you hear nothing, it's too thick!

At Costco, a box of 18 shakes is somewhere around $23.50. I saw smaller boxes of 12 at Sam's club recently too.

BTW, I thought the vanilla was awful, I returned my box to Costco because I didn't like the taste. Hopefully the strawberry is good.
