I'm feeling desperate, Please HELP!
I was sleved on Monday. I barfed BIG TIME every time that I put as much as an ice chip in my mouth. That part improved yesterday, but I need to know that these gnarly stomach cramps and waves of nausea will go away? I was sooooo excited to start a brand new chapter in life. Now, I'm just so weak and tired...............And lets just say that I'm having buyers remorse, BIG TIME!
Come back in a week and tell me you have remorse....
Hang in there. It's probably gas. Was the worst for me the 1st 3 days. This too shall pass...literally.

I am 11 days out and I cried the first week everyday. I promise one week out and you will feel better. Are you taking medicine for your nausea? My Dr sent me home with some. I understand exactly how you are feeling. I felt so alone and so regretting the decision. I still cant eat solid food for two more weeks but the second week was sooo much better than the first, I promise.
Hang in there! Write me if you want, I know how lonely the first week was!

Have you tried different temps of whatever you are sipping? Some sleeves prefer warm or cold or room temp...you may just need to play around with it.
also, are you on a PPI (like Prilosec or Prevacid, both available OTC)? That may help as well.
In a few days, you should feel like a whole different person. The recovery is a little slow, but the process is SO worth it. Hang in there!
