May Sleevers, how's it hanging?
One word...STALLED! I am a tiny bit frustrated by it but I understand it is part of the process. I am 4 weeks out and lost 26lbs so far. It stopped at about 20 days out and the scale hasn't budged since. I will increase my water intake, I think that will help because I know I am not getting enough in. Other than that I am doing great. I am finally feeling like I have my energy back and getting used to this new way of eating. I don't see much of a change in myself. I still see the same person I was for weeks ago but I do feel the change in my clothes. Also, when I am on this site and looking at the before and after pictures. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that one day I will look "skinny". I can't see mysefl 100lbs lighter but I know I am headed there but this early out...seems so surreal. Anyway, I am stalled but 26lbs ain't too shabby.
Hi all.
I got my sleeve on May 18th. I saw my surgeon this morning for follow up and I got the all clear to start back to the gym and get back in the pool.
I am struggling with the dreaded 3 week stall but I know it is temporary and I am concentrating on doing things right so that I start to lose again soon.
I was on liquids for three weeks pre-surgery and lost about 7lbs, which brought my pre-surgery weight loss to 43.7 lbs and I lost 13 lbs in the first two weeks following surgery, but the scale is stuck and I am trying to work on ignoring it.
I started soft solids last Friday- I was so sick of the liquids.
Hope you are all doing well and I am so happy to have so many May Babies along for the ride!

my life has changed since 5/17
Im totally off diabetes and blood pressure meds
I'm dropping weight like crazy
I'm back in the gym
I'm wearing 38 waist jeans
I'm feeling fantastic
I've stopped biting my tongue in my sleep (this one is huge, I used to sleep with a mouthpiece so I didn't wake up with hamburger tongue)
I can comfortably cross my legs
I have effortless control of what I eat
I'm only hungry when its time to eat
I'm completely satisfied with the tiny amounts of food I eat
Did I mention Im off my diabetes and BP meds :-)

I'm very VERY happy with my sleeve!
I'm 4 wks out and am down 17lbs. My doctor expects I would lose 40lbs with this revision, and I'm almost 1/2 way there already!!
I hope to blow that number right out of the water!!
I still have another week before I can start a vigorous exercise routine and start with weights, (I had open surgery), but then....look out!!
I'm doing well with eating and don't really have difficulty, except a little nausea sometimes, and when I do, I just cut that food back for a couple weeks and stick with something that I do well with. It's like baby steps forward.
I had a stall at the 2nd week, lasted almost 2 weeks but I've just lost another 2lbs so it's moving again!!
I'm a low-weight and revision, so I am more than HAPPY with my results so far, especially having so many ods stacked against me!!! Wooooo!
