Ladies: Cycle or Red Popsicle???
Okay, Ladies.........
I just ate a RED sugar free popsicle and upon finishing it I had to urinate (tmi). So, when I wiped myself, the tissue was "red"....now, I've had my cycle for the month, but I know that my body has undergone a MAJOR surgery, so I really don't know what to EXPECT!!!! HELP, HELP, HELP!! I tried looking on the past forums to see if I saw this type of post, but perhaps I missed it, somehow!!! HELP, HELP, HELP! lol

you should be able to tell whether you are bleeding from your vagina or it's coming from your urine via your urethra. they're not one entity. just casually wrap a piece of toilet tissue around your finger and stick it in your vagina and see if you're bleeding
generally a red popsicle won't give you red urine. unless you are actually urinating blood

I specifically chose a surgery date for immediately after my cycle. I am as regular as a clock, and my cycle is very light, and lasts approx 36 hours.
Well...4 days post op and I had what to me was a massive cycle, and it lasted for a solid 4 days, then spotted for a few more. I was told it was due to the surgery. I am interested to see what this month brings......!!

I just went to my OB today for time of the month issues, actually. I had Implanon (birth control device) installed in November of last year. It made my period stop, and I was a happy lady. 2 days after surgery, though, it came back. It then waited a month and a half to come back again, but it came back with a vengeance. Long, heavy, tons of pain, it has been a horrible week. The doc said that I'm low on estrogen because of the weight loss and since my BC has no estrogen, I'm going to have to take some.
