Post surgery pain

I'm doing well but I'm in pain a lot. My gb got removed so I think the combo is contributing. I have a binder on. The pain is in the belly.

How long before this pain goes away?

The second day for me was the worst pain wise, and from there every day got better.. I was walking the airport and flying home three nights after surgery with just discomfort and a non-narcotic pain pill in me.

I sometimes found a binder irritated more than helped, but I only used it on occasion that first week when I was out walking, kept my belly from pulling too much.

I did have some minor side stitch like pains from time to time over the first couple weeks, I believe from the abdominal muscles being cut.. it would catch me off guard, but wasn't anything compared to those first couple days. Even so, my pain was moderate at the worst. Keep on top of it with your meds and stay as comfy as you can!
