Seriously where is the cookbook?  I am already in line to buy this one!!

I want to make this.  I love salmon, but don't know how to cook it.  Can you please tell me what sake and ponzu are and where I can buy them?  Also, there are two ways (I think) to buy salmon.  Steak and ....something else.  Which do you recommend?  Thanks!

You should be able to find both at a major grocery store.....

- Sake is a Japanese Rice Wine

- Ponzu is just soy sauce with added citrus.....comes all made in a bottle.

Not sure on different cuts of Salmon.

Frisco-

Can I entice you to come to Maine and be my personal chef for a few weeks when I get back to solid food after surgery?  Sometime in September?  You could have your own little cabin.

You are not only talented in thinking these meals up, you are also a talented photographer.  Presentation of the food is wonderful!

I use a mandoline slicer..... (super dangerous)

Thin cutting is great because it looks like more food.....both for meats and veggies....

Thanks! Good Idea!  I will look it up and buy one right now.

I made a cucumber salad with my sushi ( spicy tuna rolls)  I made for dinner last night
for my mom and my son ( i used brown rice)
anyhow,,,,  I could have used this slicer. I always wanted to know how to get the cucumbers
thin.      any you say you use it for meat too?>   you actually can use veggies and meat
with this>>?

Thanks Frisco!
