I had one 1/2 cob at a barbecue and have been burping it up for over 2.5 hours. Is this normal?

Not having any trouble with it becaue it is on the list of things I shouldn't eat.

Thank you for stating that. Corn on the cob did not appear on my 'not to' list but in just made my own executive decision to omit it. I had not had it in years and today has not been a good experience. Thank you for responding.

Looks like you're a little over 1 month out. I was still on soft foods. I think you may be pushing it. Remember, this is the best opportunity you'll ever have to alter your eating habits. Pay attention to what you're doing.

Corn has caused me problems and gas pains the two times I've tried it post-op. I stopped eating corn on the cob.

Oh how I love corn. But it does not agree either with other foods. By itself ok, with company, not so much.

24 days out and I have had no problem. Jus****ch the carbs on it particularly if it is buttered. Hope this helps.

corn is pretty hard to digest on a an unedited tummy so i would think it is even more difficult on a healing tummy.  i would put it on the  back burner for a few more monthes, or at least until corn is in season again next summer.  good luck!

although I am over 2 years out, I have no problem with corn, on or off the cob. I probably eat an ear every other week or so. Though I have already had it twice this holiday weekend.

Anything with a skin such as corn, pickles, cucumbers were big no no's for me even at around 3 months out. I didn't eat pickles for almost a year because the first time I tried to add them to my tuna salad (after 3 months out), I burped up pickle skins for hours on end.

Now at 2 years out, I have zero issues with anything with skins.
