spider technique??

My surgeon says he can't do "his" VSG with the SIL procedure (single incision)....

I saw a vid on the spider....looks interesting !

Wow, so interesting.  Never heard of it before.

Any downsides discussed with you versus regular lap VSG?

not yet, prior to surgery there is a 3 hour education class. He said any question I forgot will be answered there.

The spider was shown on the doctors show.  They did perform a vsg with it.  My physician is doing a single incision vsg on me which is why i have to do a longer preop liquid diet to shrink my organs.
