Okay... probbaly because I am fat, but I am the smallest I have been in about 8 years and heading in the right direction.  I am 2 weeks and a bit out from surgery...

I don't know if it emotions, stress, or the fact that I am paying so much more attention to my body, but I just feel FAT today... and I'm looking pretty good!

I still have this huge spare tire and it's driving me nuts today!

AND I actually feel hungry. and food still tastes good and is intersting to me... totally managable and all, but it's still there.

I've been kinda low energy the last few days too... busy, but not accomplishing much once I get home...

Sorry! Vent over!

Does anyone else ever feel like this???

Yep, I have days where I feel like I am one of the "skinny" ones and days where I still feel like that 304lb person I was 10 months ago.  I find myself gazing into the mirror (or my reflection in a window) all the time. Sometimes I see hotness and sometimes I see yuck.  Funny, today I was walking up to a building and caught my reflection in a window and I didn't realize it was me at first. This journey is such a play on emotions and the mind. And we will always be our own biggest critics.

I still like food too. I still look forward to my meals and food still tastes too dang good.  I was hoping that I would not care about food, but I do and I have to deal with it. Just have to learn self control and make good choices. It is not a bad thing, even skinny chics like food.  Atleast we now have a tool to help us.

Hang in there and know you are absolutely not alone with your feelings.  Many of us struggle with the same issues.

I feel the same way, I think its in the mind.  The fact is that I still have more weight to lose but in my mind is worse than what it actually is.  Do you think that if you take the time that you invest thinking about being fat and using that time to be more active, walking on the park, going for a bike ride, that it would probably help you feel better and help you to reach your goal more effectively?  If its raining out you can probably work on your filing or doing things around the house that would help keep you distracted from thinking about your weight (fixing your closet, etc).  These are things I do and I have found them to be extremely helpful.

I feel the same way today .. you and I are about the same weight now .. I had my surgery on July 5th and although I've done really well in the last 4 weeks and I know I look better I still feel fat .. I wonder if that's just a normal sensation because we have been fat for so long?

Anyway, you look marvelous .. now snap out of it! ;)
