First of all, Yum!

Second - this seems like a LOT of food. How much of one of these do you eat? Right now I serve myself about 2 oz of dense protein and don't fini**** about half the time.

Third - did you eat things like this during loss or not until maintenance? I've been hyperfocused on protein foods right now so while this looks delicious I'd almost be afraid to eat it.

Fourth - when's that book/website due out/up again?

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

Well......

You fell into my trap..........

One of the sections in my proposed (book, site or blog???) will be on spreading the food out on your plate to make it look bigger !!!

If you note on my post the dimensions are 8"x5" and the Lavash is very thin....tortilla thin. And I ate half. The carb count for half that piece of Lavash is about 5

Here is an example..... a deck of cards is about 3oz. of food...(generally speaking and I follow this as I travel or have to eat out frequently)

So... a deck of cards has 52 cards......what looks bigger as you look down on it.....one stack of 52 or 5 stacks of 10?

The portion of Pizza I ate would be similar in volume  to your 2oz. of dense protein.

The ingredients are VERY thin and finely chopped. I just happen to prefer thin crust designer pizza.

Even the dry parsley sprinkle for garnish makes the plate look a little fuller.

I love that your "hyper-focused on protein" I'm a big fan of that.... and I generally am also. Don't change that !!!

In weight loss I worked within 40grams of carbs a day and now in maintenance I'm working within about 80grams of carbs....sometimes more.... sometimes less.....

Yes, I did eat Lavash a couple times a week during WL after about the 6th. month.... I think that's about when I discovered it. I ate very little veggies and very little fruit.

NOTE TO PRE OPS:

My intentions on showing pictures of food is not to get you to crave food.....My intention is to share my/our new relationship with food and how some of my discoveries will help you understand that "Eating is NOT over" eating can change for the better. It's quality over quantity and it doesn't have to be hard. This pizza is a great example of how easy, fast and delicious it can be and still fall into your guidelines.

I am unable to see any pictures from Frisco's posts.  I can see everyone else's, though.  Anyone have an idea why?

I've found it at wal-mart and it's almost always on the bakery clearance since no one around here eats it. I made some turkey rolls up with it once and a pizza once. Is yours crisp on the bottom? That's the only problem I had is mine was still floppy but I only have an oven, no toaster oven.

I toast the Lavash about half way just to firm it up before any toppings.......

You could do the same thing in an oven for a few minutes.....
