How y'all doing?

I'm ok... much more energy compared to before surgery. I'm on day 4 of working after just having finished three 12.5 hours shifts in a row... and back for tomorrow (thankfully today and tomorrow are only 8.5 hour shifts!) for one more before my first day off after my 57 hour work week. I never could have done this before surgery, energy-wise.

Looking forward to getting to the gym this evening. That's right, I said "looking forward" to working out... also something I never would have said before surgery.

Things are looking positive from my end... how are you all doing?

I'm a stay at home mom and I'm with you on the more energy! It's great feeling more like a normal person each day. I workout mon-fri but not weekends. I just do lots of fast walking with an incline on the treadmill but I too look forward to it. It makes me proud and happy that I CAN do it I might join a gym after school starts for the little one but I'm not sure yet.
I was losing pretty slow until I decided to go against my NUT and dr who wanted me to be on a low fat low calorie diet. I decided to remove all processed foods and basically do Atkins and my weightloss has been much more. I'm down one more lb than my ticker but my official week day to weigh in is tomorrow so I'm not going to change it til tomorrow.
After that I'm going to hide that darn scale til next week lol I hate weighing everyday it gets addicting!!

Vitamins - hubby picked me up some kirkland kind, any reason I shouldn't trust this brand?

Well, my eyes are finally getting to a size that more closely matches my stomach!  I went through a period of what felt like force feeding, trying to get enough calories in to satisfy the NUT.  After 1 week of doing things her way, I **** canned the advice and went back to what was working.  I am the best person to decide what to put in this body of mine.  I know what makes the engine hum and what makes it sputter!  lol  My weight loss is steady, I have a ton of energy, and l am actually planning a trip to the Bahamas in February, with snorkeling, pools, all that stuff that involves being in a bathing suit.  And the BEST part of that???  I am not feeling the teensiest bit anxious about it.    The sleeved life is good.

Hello May flowers!!!  I had my sleeve done on may of last year and it's been a great ride so far. The weight lost is stilL there but it has slowed down a whole lot...  I know that I can eat anything and with simple carbs I can eat of lot of them without even thinking about it. So please dont start with those old carbs because it's hard to stop. I havent gained any weight and I loose 1-2 lbs a month.. BUT ONE THINGS FOR SURE IF I WOULDNT CHEAT I WOULD BE SO MUCH MORE CLOSER TO MY GOAL. I HAVE LOSTED 100 LBS and I AM VERY SATISFIED, ALTHOUGH I WOULD LOVE TO SEE 30 MORE LBS EVAPORATE..  BUT ONLY I CAN DO THIS. I HAVE STARTED WORKING OUT AGAIN AND STAYING AWAY FROM THE CHIPS(MY WEAKNESS)....SO MAY FLOWERS WHEN YOU FALL DOWN GET BACK UP DUST YOURSELF OFF AND KEEP TRUCKING..   THE SLEEVE MAKES THING SOO SOO SOO MUCH EASIER...   GOOD LUCK!!! OH JUST IN CASE YOU WERE INTERESTED,I WENT FROM A 24 TO A 12-14, 3X TO A MEDIUM, SHOE 11 TO A 10, PIE FACE TO A SLICE(LOL). RING SIZE 9 TO A 71/2, WAIST 49 TO A 32...  YES I HAVE A WAIST LINE...... HIPS STILL BIG BUT I'M GOOD.....

I am doing great!  I have found my new normal and on most days don't even remember that I had surgery 3 months ago.  I have hit my stride.  I know what food works and what doesn't.  I am proud to say that I still have not put a single sweet in my mouth in over 3 1/2 months(huge for me...total sweet tooth).  I have found that if you don't eat it,  you don't crave it.  So, I am going to hold out as long as I can before I have even a bite of something sweet.
I started back to the gym 5 days a week.  Once I got my kid back in school, it is so wonderful and easy to get there.  I go and I don't have to rush.  I am doing a Body Pump class(strength training) 3 days a week and cardio every day.  Some days I am there for 1 1/2 hours and I LOVE it!  I love the soreness that comes with working your body hard.
I bought a 14/16 top and dress the other day(still a 20 in pants) and nearly fell out in the floor!  Anyone else noticing that the belly isn't shrinking as fast as the rest of the body?  My pants still fit in the waist, but the legs and butt look like a tent!!  What is up with that!!!!
My mind is having a hard time catching up to reality.  I can't quite grasp that I have lost 50 lbs in a little over 3 months!

I'm doing good. Have my good days and have my bad weeks...I guess. Guess I'm on some cycle. I will loose every couple of weeks then a pause for couple weeks. CRAZY!!

Finally started to take exercise serious now. Started working out last week and doing it steadily. Seems is easier now that the pounds are shedding off.

As far as foods, water or protiens...those are doing good too. No real issues except eating out...I really need to pay attention to how they cook stuff. Too much olive oil and my system rejects everything.

Think I'm finally realizing my body is changing. FINALLY had the nerve to donate my precious clothes so have my closet is gone and started on my other closet which has the smallest in there. Size 12's....think the smallest I have is size 10's is a pair of jean.

So...blood work on next appointment. We'll see where I'm at.
