Hey all…
Maybe I missed the last one… if so Im sorry guys. Lifes been hectic. ( if so link me baby) So I was sleeved on Jan 27th at 229 pounds and am now at 145. I think Im done with my weight loss. Im not actively trying to lose more although Id like to keep it in the  144 - 147 range daily. Im going to play it by ear and see if more comes off on its own and how I feel about it then. If I have to up calories I will do so then. Only time will tell. Did a tummy tuck. My swelling is a lot less than it was a few weeks back. Id say about 80 percent of the swelling is gone.
So over all Im down 84 pounds since surgery and loving my sleeve~

I was sleeved January 26 at 271 lbs and I'm now at 202. Had the typical stalls, with my last one lasting nearly a month! Since then I seem to be dropping like crazy. Glad to see you've already had a tummy tuck, because I was wondering how long one had to wait. I need to lose more, but I already know this horrendous roll around my lower abdomen has GOT to go!

I don't exercise a whole lot, unless you count chasing a 4 year old exercise! I do walk two or three times a week, two miles.

Love my sleeve! Love that I can eat something considered "off limits" to dieters if and when I choose to and know that I haven't blown my whole plan by only having the few bites that I can fit.

Ya I had a ton of skin and tissue on my belly. Thats where I carried all my weight. That and the tatas. I have a before pic in my profile of my belly you can look at to see if its close to where you are. I was told by my platics guy that I had to be within 15 pounds of goal and could lose an additional 15 from post op weight. so.. I was 149 after. I can go as low as what 134?!?!?!  without ******g up the tautness of my new tummy. Any more than that and it will become lax. I don't really have any fat left on it but they removed a ton of fat (5.9) pounds of tissue and skin and 4 pound of lip from my sides and back. I know my WLS Dr  wanted me to wait but that more for regain issues and when I explained our financial issues he agreed it was worth doing now. If your close to goal go for it.

Sleeved 1/24/11. Have lost 71 pounds since getting my sleeve, 34 pounds pre-op. Total loss of 105 pounds !

I am still on the loser's bench -- need to get to my first goal of 170; and will see what I decide once I'm there. I am loving my sleeve, and my life. I exercise 4 to 5 days a week at Curves, no longer have to walk with a cane, am able to walk distances and will probably have my knee replacement in the next year.

I am happier than I can ever recall being. I'm 55 years old, dovorced a few years, and just started dating again !!! Also just got a new job too ! I'm having the time of my life !!!

I eat protein first and foremost. Then green vegies, fruit and a bite of a carb now and then. I don't get too crazed about having a cookie everyonce in a while. I'm in this for the long run, and for a lifestyle change. I don't have to be the fastest loser, I am content with the downward trend of the scale. Have had my stalls and really slow months of losing; but then it picks up again...so I just keep doing what I'm doing, and it works !!!!

My doctors (surgeon, primary, and orthopedist) are all thrilled with my progress, and I am too.

Hello my sexy Jan sleevers. I was sleeved on Jan 5th 2011. I'm down a total of 76 since the surgery. I feel so much better physically!! I feel like I'm a slow loser compared to others, and I know I need to not compare myself but it's driving me crazy, lol. My aunt bought me a 6 month gym member ship for my birthday, but I havent gone the past two weeks because I rubbed my heels raw in some shoes, grr. lol

My sleeve was January 6th, although I started my pre-op diet on December 16.  I've lost 126 pounds since then (335 down to 209.)  I do Zumba for exercise mostly.  I think I do very well with my eating, but probably drink more alcohol than I should.

My plan is to try and get down to 150 pounds.  I'm not sure if I will be able to without some lower body surgery though.  That is where it seems to be hanging on the most.  I look good with my clothes on, but naked?  My belly and hips are bad!!

My weight loss on the scale has slowed down a lot, but I seem to be going through clothes faster.  I'm not sure if that makes a lot of sense.  I'm down to the smaller side of 18.  I could even be a 16, but I wore "big" clothes for so long that I just don't realize that they fit.  I usually don't notice something is big on me until I see a picture.

Since having my surgery and losing weight life has changed so much.  Last fall I was really getting depressed and hitting rock bottom.  I have hope and am learning to live again.  I've sat on the sidelines for too long and now I'm gonna PLAY!!

I was sleeved 1/28/11.  I lost 32lbs pre-op, and I am down 90lbs post-op for a total of 122.  Love my sleeve.  I exercise quite a bit including strength training.  I am still losing at a pretty good pace down about 10lbs in the last 4 weeks.  I can't complain.  Enjoyed walking into Ross and buying a suit  for $30 that I saw at Dillards for $179. Much easier to do that at a size 12 than a 28W. I am still 35-45lbs from "Goal."  I hope to hit 124 by Xmas.

Good luck and best wishes to all :)

Hello, I was sleeved 1/11/11 at 255 pounds and am 176 now. Everything is going well! The weight loss has definitely slowed down a lot. I saw my surgeon on Monday, and he said I've done "superbly." :) He said people generally lose 1/3 of their body weight with the surgery, which I already have done (pre-op liquid diet weight was 263). I'm still losing, just slowly. He said it will be a challenge to reach my first goal weight of 140 pounds (normal BMI). I'm up for the challenge. :)

All in all, everything is great. I watch my food quantities as I can definitely eat more than before. Sugars and breads still make me sick so that helps in staying away from them, haha.

I've enjoyed reading all the updates! Keep it up, everyone!
