I know this a personal question but ....TMI ahead

If you have had your sleeve surgery how many BMs  have you had since your surgery? Are you back to regular? I'm asking because I had 1 BM 7 days postop. I am 20days post op today. I have a lot of gas but no BM yet. I'm thinking I should take some Miralax or something. I do know that my food consumption is not that it was before,but I should bmoving something.

Most definitely miralax!  Bless your heart - I know you must be miserable.  My surgery was on 8/25 & I had my first BM 4 days post op & every day since.  Are you getting your liquids in?

I drink but I'm sure I could do better. I was told to drink more at my 2 week checkup because my HR was elevated.

Try milk of magnesia.  If you don't get relief call your doc

 Oh darling - I had the same issue and found out I was impacted (and had to manually take care of it).  Please go get yourself a stool softener and start taking it immediately.  That is far too long - trust me, I know !!!  Good luck !!!!

 My doc said if no BM in 3 days, do Milk of Magnesia and to call if still not moving.  I was also put on Reglan to keep things moving.

First do the MOM and then the Miralax the next day because the Miralax takes days to work. If you are really stuck a Fleet glycerin suppository works in less than 30 min.

I really need to keep on top of this issue or manOman am I in trouble.

it took me 8 days post op to have my 1st BM.  i called my doctor, and he said it may be delayed caused i was on clear liquids only.
