Acrylic Nails

I've had acrylic nails for 15 years. what is the impact on acrylic nails and VSG?

Nothing! Had mine about the same amount of time and have had no problems.

VSG on 10/04/10

No impact...other then your surgeon may require no polish for surgery - I wear pink/white powder so there was no issue they could still check my oxygen saturation easily.

Thank goodness! I was about to freak out! What would I do without my acrylics! Now wondering if I will need hair extensions when my hair starts to fall out...and what about after you lose all that weight?! What happens to your breasts? Okay..got off course! Sorry!

Whew... I can always get 'support' for my breasts, but REALLY need by nails!!!

My acrylic nails are just fine. Right before surgery I had white tips put on since we aren't suppose to wear nail polish - plus they stayed nice during my recovery until I was able to get them filled in.
