How in the world do you successfully strain it?  I used to try and make it for my daughter in my Oster Blender, and could never strain it well enough for her.  She said it was like fuzz in the back of her throat!

I do a two step process, I first drain it with cheese cloth to get out all of the big pieces, I let it sit for a few hours and squeeze it good, then I cover a colander with coffee filters and run it though that. It gets all the smaller pieces out!

I was diabetic before WLS and now have hypoglycemic issues after WL. I have more issues during/after exercise and first thing in the morning.

I have to get nourishment within 30-60 minutes of waking, so I usually do a protein shake early. I have to eat something before I workout. I also have to eat something ever 2-3 hours during my waking hours.

I've easily adjusted to my new "lifestyle" and just have to stay on top of my eating. I never found that a certain food caused my issues it's just been making sure I dont go without eating and making sure I eat before I exercise. Once I made those adjustments I have done fine and have not felt better.

Good Luck!
