Why is it so hard to take our own advice?

 How many times have I explained to other people that an overnight gain of a pound or two is waterweight? I understand the math and I know I didn't take in 3500 calories extra yesturday, yet I still wanted to cry and feel guilty when the scale said I was up a pound this morning. 

And I have a horrible cold. Pity Party for one please! I need to yank myself up off the ground this morning and move on so this negativity does not invade the rest of my day, but sometimes its so hard. 

You mean like when a DSer tells other DSers that if they don't want srinky farts or yucky poo they should stop eating candy?  Like that?  (And when you go to the store will you get me another can of room spray?)

 Thanks, I needed to hear that. I do wish I could take the day off, but the little man feels just as bad as I do so he is stuck to my leg (and periodically wiping his nose on said leg). I think we are both headed back to bed after breakfast.
