Had my first negative experience with food!
That is exactly what this felt like, a ton of bricks! The meat was so tender you didn't even need a knife and I chewed like I should, but man it hit me after about three bites and I knew it wasn't going to stay down! I fought it for a bit (I got good at that with my band!) but after a while it just got too painful.
I tried to eat my eggs this morning and it immediately felt a little "off", so I fed the rest to the dog (she is really liking this whole surgery thing b/c she gets whatever I can't finish, she might need WLS in a year or two LOL) and I am going to stick to mushy stuff and liquids today.

What the heck is "foamies"? That's the first time I've heard of it and I've been lurking for months.
When I met the surgical team this week, the dietician asked me if I had a history of anorexia or bolemia. I laughed and smiled politiely and said "ummm ... nooooo. Why in the world would i throw up the foods I love?!?!?!" She laughed. I HATE throwing up - sorry you had that experience.
Hmmm...foamies. Gonna go research that right now.
