When you gain, do you edit your ticker?

Just a silly question, but I wanted to know if I am the only one who has noticed this in themselves LOL When I lose weight I RUSH here to change my ticker so that it shows my loss, so I can gloat over it for a few mins and be pleased with myself. But when I GAIN I pretend the ticker does not even exist, I somehow "forget" to change it

Like this morning I was up .5, and I have yet to change the ticker today and even now that I have posted about it, I have a feeling I still won't

What do you do?

Not NO, but HELL NO ! ! ! Ha ha ha.

Grant it, during my losing stage, I didn't deal with any gains or stalls and I was a self-admitted scale ***** weighing several times a day.

BUT, in maintenance, I would literally bounce 3lbs up and down every day of the week. I gave myself a 5lb wiggle for an average.

I definitely haven't changed it in my pregnancy, but I'm open about my weight gain.

Water weight is a ***** and she wins daily so there was no reason to give her the victory on my ticker!

I woke up one morning and my weight was 266. I knew it couldnt be right because I was 5lbs heavier the day before. Sure enough....I was up 4 the next day but I had already changed the ticker...so I just left it there. Just this morning (4 days later) have I finally caught up to the ticker ;)

LOL I don't!

I usually bump up 1-2 lbs right around my TOM, but I never up my ticker. Right now my ticker says I'm at 189.8 and this morning my scale said 190.8, but I know it's jus****er retention and it will be gone next week. I guess if the weight was real and stayed around several weeks I would consider it. Maybe. LOL

But yes, I too RUSH to change the ticker when its down to a new number!

Nope! I know that I haven't eaten enough to gain real weight, so I'm not going to give my self esteem the hi****er weight. Doesn't count.

High weight: 276

Lowest weight: 155.2

Currently : 159-164

Nope! I lost in stair steps. I would lose 3-7 lbs then go up a couple lbs for 5-15 days then would lose 3-7 lbs. It would have drove me CRAZY changing my ticker that often! LOL! Only change it when you lose to keep your sanity in check.

Most of the time i just ignor my ticker until i get back below whatever the gain was.  As a result my ticker hasn't seen much action over the past few months. I occasionally gain 2 or 3 pounds overnight and then take a week or more to get it back off. I am not pretending anything just not announcing to the OH world that hey I messed up and gained ( I prefer to keep my small defeats to myself and celebrate the weight loss publicly)

You made me go look for my last update..it was Oct 8...today i am back to 192.5 which is where i was then.  Since that day I have been as high as 195.6, up and down a few times but not below the 192 which I was waiting for in order to update.  I think i must be getting close to the weight my body wants or maybe I am just eating too much fruit....tis the season for apples, raspberries and the canteloupe are very nice now too.

I do update...even with the weight gain I have experienced in this freakin' stall. I know a lot of it is the fact that I am newly sleeved (5wks), but I also want to hold myself accountable for every bit of the good and the bad that comes along with this ride!

That includes grimacing as I have to up the weight on the ticker an additional 0.4lbs!

Nope- only document the positive!  Sometimes it takes a few days but the scale always goes down again. (Thanks Sleeve)
