Sleeve date Oct 14th!

Started my 2 weeks of no carbs today.  I am busy with two kids and am a planner.  Can you all tell me what I need to buy for after the surgery?  I know gas strips.  Where do I get those?  What else?  I am excited but starting to get nervous!

Congrats, the day will be here before you know it. You can get the gas-x strips at Walmart, any grocery store, or any pharmacy. Be sure to ask the staff at the hospital to give you as many of the little plastic medicine cups as they can spare. You will prob be drinking out of those to start. I also bought a sippy cup. They will have everything you need in the hospital, so other than your toiletries, you won't need to bring much other than something comfortable to wear home. Get you some broth, sugar free popsicles, and sugar free jello for when you come home. I can't think of anything else right now. Hope this helps.
