i think it went great. post op blues of course excessive gas finding comfortable sleeping positions back and forth with the abdominal binder ground/ crushed pills are disgusting! but other than the usual great outcome! im really happy because my lap sites are damn invisible! one is under my boob and the other is my belly button! i love my surgeon and his team! i was complaining alot but seeing how bad it coulda been I think i did great!

l'm so glad!  The first day/most of the second l was having buyer's remorse.  Damn, could l NOT have done better before and not had to be so drastic? BUT l don't feel any discomfort any more.  I just had a nap and even my back feels better.  l had had laproscopic surgery once before, so l have more visible insicisions.  They have healed up so well, though.  lt's all good!!

I am saving a seat on the losers bench just for you.  Please remember to sip, sip, sip.  I used a shot glass and tried to finish one every half hour or so.  Walk as soon as you can and do deep breathing exercises to avoid pneumonia.  I hope for an uneventful surgery and an easy recovery.  See you on the other side.

Thank you, Elina!  They sent me home with pre-marked cups and tons of goodies.  Even a protein drink and a couple of Propels for the road.  Oh, and a breathing machine thingy, too.  l feel great now - l keep walking the treadmill and sipping.  Down 5 lbs already!! =D

Wishing you a safe surgery and a speedy recovery!!  You will do great!  Walk as soon as possible, it truly helps with recovery.  Sip like its your new job.
I walked every hour that I was awake right after surgery and the more I walked the better I felt.
I sipped and tried to meet the requirements right off the bat,and I did not have issues with gas at all and very little pain.
Wishing you the best!!
