Queso Fresco!!!
Ok I seen previous posts on this but don't feel like searching forever. It sounded so good I went out and got me some and have no clue how to prepare, any suggestions????? It's a round block so do I cut in strips??? I saw someone say they fried it and I assume it came out like mozzarela sticks was that in reg fryer oil or better oil for you??? ANy help would be great. I'm not a big cook so I need all the help I can get lol. Thanks, Kerry
I cut it into 1 oz strips, then put it in a pan that I misted with a little garlic oil (you could use Pam to do the same I guess) it does NOT require alot of oil. Then I place it in the pan over med heat, and placed a lid over (so the middle would get melty too), once it started to brown I flipped it using a spatula, makeing sure to lossen it a bit around the edges so the nice brown top would come lose and flip with it, then wait for the other side to brown and then remove to a plate!
