Went for my 6 mth follow up appt today.  Dr. was so happy with my progress.  i asked him what i should do now?  Do I change any thing?  He said to keep doing what I'm doing.  It's working GREAT !  Then he asked me to please come and speak at his next seminar. He says for some reason, Sleeve pts are hard to get to speak.  He said  that I'm doing so great, It would be great for possible future pts to see my success.  It made me so happy that he was pleased.  I have been wondering what kind of numbers they want to see at 6 mths out.  Well now I know..

Is it time to start to panic about speaking in front to a room full of stangers... LOL

Isn't it great not to dread seeing your doc? I think the key to speaking to this kind of group is that they all want to be where you are and you understand how they feel. They's want to ask a lot of questions and you just need to give honest answers. Think of them all as future OHers and you'll be fine.

Congratulations to you!  This definitely shows that you are doing a great job.  Don't be nervous at all... just think about what an amazing story/journey you have to share and what you would've wanted/needed to hear when YOU were sitting in that seminar!

Oh, Janie, this is so great for you and even better for the folks at the seminar to see such success story. Best wishes for future success too.

Always the best wishes, Sue

Great job! What a compliment to be asked to speak. I bet you'll do great at it, too!
