hi all!!!

i'm so excited that i can't stand it!!!!!  i went to the avenue (my fave plus size store) to buy bras and got -- ta-da! -- a size 40D!!!!!!!!!!  man, i could shop at Macy's in that size!!!!  the girls are looking good (at least when i'm dresses -- i'm 52, LOL!).  even better, i tried on and fit into a size 14 pair of jeans (down from a tight 24) and a size 14-16 shirt that buttons up the front (down from a 26-28!!).  i am sooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!  i'm about to size myself out of the plus-size world and i'm in a panic!!!!!  it's a good one though.  i'm visiting my mom for the first time since surgery this weekend and i can't decide between the (slightly tight) 14s and the (slightly loose) 16s i just bought!!!!  opinions?!?!?!?!

i'm super exceited!!!!  never thought i could go this low in size.  at the beginning i said "i'd just like to see a "teen" again."  guess i got my wish -- in spades!!!!

Congrats on the down sizing!  I'd wear the slightly tight pants, but that's just me.  Tighter pants with a not tight shirt.
I know when I transitioned from plus size to "normal" cloths, it was very disconcerting.  I knew my way around the plus sizes.  I still feel like a stranger in a strange land when I shop in the regular stores.  It takes some getting used to!

Whoo Hoo for Ann!!  That is great!  I would wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.  Sometimes it's the smaller size that makes me look skinnier, but if they're too tight...

What a nice decision to make!!

Congrats on the sizing out of plus sizes! I really liked Lane Bryant bras. They were my favorite and I wish I could still where them. But I've switched to Dr. Rey bras which can be found at Sears.

It feels so great leaving the plus sizes, but I feel the same as Marie B. I still feel like a stranger in the regular stores. I keep expected someone to jump out of the racks and ask, "What are youuuuu doing here?" I guess in time it will be normal.

Congratulations Ann!  I am so very jealous.  My bQQbs look like those half deflated ballons at the circus ballon-pop arcade.  Aint winnin any prizes for these puppies.  It's pretty bad when you put on your bra and have to tuck them UP INTO the cup.    Oh well.......maybe there is a lift in my future!

Great work!

I definitly feel like an "imposter" in the "regular" size department. And having recently been told that I am really a petite size person was/is a complete shock.

I had to run into walmart last night to buy some long pants. It got cold here literally OVERNIGHT and I'm not supposed to wear blue jeans to work. But all I had other than capris was two pr of blue jeans I had bought for camping !!! Bought 3 pr of Lee Riders in beige, grey and black all in regular size 16 petite -- marveling at the tags "smaller hip to waist ratio for a petite figure" HUH ??!! and then bought 4 shirts in LG/XL !!! And got the whole haul for cheap.

I still can't believe that I have gone from a size 28 womans pant to a 16 petite !!! And a 3x to a LG/XL ?

What a wild ride...
