9/12-9/16 Sleevers- 6 week check in
I'm doing great! Down 28 lbs so far. Should be cleared to exercise tomorrow at doctor's, so looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. Also started back to work this week. I'm getting the protein in and am about 600-700 calories. My doctor actually wants us to be at 1000 calories, but I just can't eat that much.
I had surgery on 9/14 and I am doing great. I've had no problems and little to no pain, just a little discomfort, my stomach was tight and it looked like I was pregnant for a while but all of that evenually went away. I try to exercise every day. I walk on the treadmill and elyptical. Sometimes I walk around my building at lunch. I stay between 600-800 calories a day. I get my water in and my protein. I try to get as much protein as possible. I have lost about 22 pounds. I am losing slow I know, however I am still losing (That is how I have to look at it.)
I'm doing alot better this week. I am finally to solid foods and its sooo much better. I have been bad about tracking my foods but started this week I've been around 40-50grams of protein and 400-600 calories. I'm still not that good with water but getting better now that I can drink w/out pain. I went back to work 2 weeks post-op and that was hard, but necessary. I have lost 40lbs post-op and 20lbs pre-op. Its weird I still feel super fat and feel like I look the same, but I see a difference in my clothes. Just the beginning though right? Good luck everyone!
9/16 here =0)
Doing awesome, in spite of my staph infection I got last week. Still on yucky antibiotics. I am down 35#, but 51# since I started the jouney Sept '10. I too feel like I didn't even have surgery, except when i eat lol Takes me longer to eat than my husband or kiddo and i get full off of WAY less ahahah.
Still having issues getting all my water in, and loads of issues w. reflux *sigh* was going to the gym regularaly, until i developed the infection, hoping to start going back next week, i actually MISS going to the gym.
Im glad to see everyone else is doing so great since surgery

Im doing loads better than I was a week ago. They had me on 2 different antibiotics, turns out i have a severe intolerance to bactrum lol so i quit taking that, and have stayed on the keflex. about another 5 days of that and i should be done, thank God...no cutting my incision back open just the torture of nasty medicine.
