I'm having a hard time getting use to feeling the difference in my body. I am able to see and feel my shoulders and clavicles...It has been years since I have seen them.  I have seen other posts about our knees..I do have to put a pillow between them somedays when I sleep.  How do these skinny folks sleep???  LOL

Also is anyone else having problems with your hands and feet being COLD.  I seem to have no fat left on my hands and feet...

I still have 40 pounds to go....Im wondering how I will feel then.....But really happy to find out !!!

Bahaha!  I just noticed my shoulders today!  My shoulder was itching, so I scratched it.  All of a sudden, I felt bone.  I flipped out and told my hubby to feel.  He, of course, did not understand it; but, I almost jumped for joy.  As for the cold, I'm perpetually cold now and I used to always be hot.  I'm dreading this winter already!  Time to shop for an electric blankie!

YES!  I've been using a pillow between my knees since about halfway to goal. I've discovered that my clavicle bones are huge, and what the heck are those ropy things leading up my neck from the clavicle?  Are those bones or ligaments or what? Same with those things right behind my knees, that make shaving a whole new adventure.  But by far the weirdest bones to discover have to be the rib bones - front and back.  They're right at the surface these days!  Any time I have an itch on my upper torso and go to scratch it, I get the washboard rib bone sensation underneath - weird weird weird.

And don't even get me started on the cold.  This winter is going to be interesting, and I live in California!

But would I trade all this to go back to a nice padded skeleton?  Not on yer life, nossir!

p.s.  Good topic for Halloween, LOL!

I have to admit it, I love feeling those bones.  My ribs and knees are the latest to say hello.  Lugkily I'm a stomach sleeper so my knees don't bump in the night.  Feeling or seeing the bones are like proof that I really am getting smaller!  I have been cold in my office, but that happened pre-op too.  I did notice on Thursday that my hands were extr cold.  Maybe it is because my hands have gotten thinner.  I guess we all need to buy some warm gloves for this winter.BRRR!

Yay!!  I so hope that I can feel chill, says the hot blooded woman.  I am always hot, easy to sweat.  Looking forward to chill.  Sounds like a new addition to the wardrobe :)

It's freezing!   I have fleece sheets, which are heavier than flannel, and I love them.  I also have a fleece blanket doubled over just my side of the bed.  I sleep with socks on now since my feet and hands are freezing.  Sometimes I even wear gloves at work (I work for a very hot (sweaty type) doctor who keeps the place just above icicle producing cold!

My bones!  Where have they been all these years?  I started gaining weight as a late teen to cover up those ribs that stood out and made me look anorexic - and their back.  Welcome back!  No more fat tissue coverup for you!

Have you noticed those things that are about half way down your arm?  I think they call them elbows!  Are they supposed to stick out like that?  LOL!!!

Bye bye warm and fat  - hello cold and thin.  I LOVE IT!!  Put on a sweater, turn up the heat.

When my husband hugs me, he calls me his 'prime rib'. Even my head feels boney when I wash my hair and I can see my rib bones on my chest. When I lay in bed, I sometimes wonder if it's my body that I'm touching. And my arms can cross all the way across my chest now when I'm angry. Love this!

Always the best wishes, Sue

I don't like bony, so I'm a little nervous.  I set my goal at 5 pounds lower than I have ever been as an adult, because I felt a little bony then (at 165) and I'm a little scared of more bony-ness!

I actually don't understand this super-skinny worship our culture has.  Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be fat (duh!) but, I do want a *little* padding!
