If there was a like button, I would use it. You really have this down.

I know there are many different plans out there and people are all different and success can be found through many different sources, however, there is a reason so many of the VETS that are still around here used one particular plan.  When I go my support group, I can predict with regularity what six months down the road will look like for people based on the food plan they are using.  I have been at goal for over 1.5 years, I don't need to SELL my plan to anybody.  I have already got mine, I just want others to get theirs.

My surgeon specifically told me NOT to count net calories and to count calories and keep track of them along with protein and carbs.

It's funny how easy it is to forget about simple healthy fats like avocados, nuts and olive oil!

Thanks for the reminder.  I think I've finally gotten the calorie monster to hush at least for today!

Great job on the bike.  My current addiction is jogging on the trail or hopping on the elliptical for half an hour or more.  Never thought I'd enjoy jogging!  On the eliptical it's more like running since it's low impact on my knees, though.  Turn on my music and off I go.  I kind of like this new me who loves to drink water and isn't afraid of a few hills on the trail!

Best of luck on your continued success!
